Adaptive coaching
Most plans are wrong
by week three.
You miss a session. A niggle shows up. Work gets busy. A plan written sixteen weeks ago doesn't know any of that, and keeps handing you the session it decided on in January. This one asks, every 2 weeks, and rebuilds around the answer.

The loop
Train 2 weeks. Check in. Get the next 2.
The check-in opens partway through your block, once there is enough training banked to steer from. It takes about a minute.
What you actually did
We already know — sessions are logged, and Strava fills in the rest. The check-in asks about the gap between what was planned and what happened, not for a training diary.
How it felt
Session RPE and how recovery is going. Two blocks of grinding at the top of the range is a plan problem, not a discipline problem.
What's changed
New niggle, holiday next week, gym shut, race moved. The things that make a fixed plan wrong on day three.
And then what actually changes
Volume
Missed half the block? The next one starts where you actually are, not where the spreadsheet hoped you'd be.
Intensity
Hitting every session comfortably moves the top end up. Struggling moves it down before it becomes an injury.
Exercise selection
Kit you don't have, movements that aggravate something, a station you keep avoiding — all reflected in the next block.
Balance
Running eating your lifting, or the reverse. The split shifts toward whichever is falling behind your goal.
Also included
Know whether it's working.
Adapting to what you did is only useful if something is measuring what you did.
Fitness score
One number, built from three axes — strength, engine, and work capacity — weighted for the goal you're actually training for. It moves when your training moves, and you can see which axis is carrying you and which is lagging.
Benchmarks and retests
Baseline tests in your first block so the numbers are yours rather than a guess from your bodyweight. Retests come round on a cycle long enough for the change to be real — not so often that you're testing instead of training.
Levels and XP
Training days, benchmarks, and blocks completed all earn XP, and XP earns levels. It is counted from what you've done rather than stored, so it can never drift out of step with your actual training.
Strava sync
Connect once and your runs match themselves to the session they were meant to be. Nothing to log twice, and the check-in gets the truth rather than what you remembered a fortnight later.
Pricing
30 days free. Then pick a lane.
While launch pricing runs, a month of adaptive coaching costs less than the smallest one-off pack. That is deliberate, and it is temporary.

How is this different from a normal training plan?
A fixed plan is written once and is wrong the first time life interferes with it. Adaptive coaching writes 2 weeks at a time, then rebuilds the next 2 around what actually happened — the sessions you hit, the ones you missed, and what felt heavy.
Why 2 weeks?
Long enough for training to do something measurable, short enough that a bad week doesn't derail a whole block. It is also roughly how long it takes for a plan written for the wrong athlete to become obviously wrong.
What happens if I miss a check-in?
Nothing breaks. Your plan progresses on its own so you always have sessions to train, and the next check-in picks up where you left off.
Do I have to pay to try it?
No. There is a 30-day free trial and no card is charged until it ends. Cancel any time during the trial and you pay nothing.
Can I just buy a fixed plan instead?
Yes. Signing up gives you 4 weeks of training time free, which is a complete 4-week plan, and after that one-off packs start at £4.99. Adaptive coaching is for people who want the plan to keep up with them; a fixed block is for people who want to know now what week nine looks like.
Which goals does it support?
Hyrox and hybrid. Both get the same adaptive engine — what changes is what the block is periodised toward.
