Best Hyrox Training Apps in 2026: 6 Apps Compared Honestly

Runna, ROXFIT, TrainRox, Centr, TrainingPeaks and Hybrid Training Plan compared: what each one plans, what it costs, and who it suits for Hyrox.

Hyrox is eight 1 km runs with a functional station after each one, so a good Hyrox training app has to plan two things at once: your running and your strength. Most apps are good at one and add the other on top. This guide compares six apps people use for Hyrox, what each actually plans, what it costs, and who it suits.

Full disclosure: we make Hybrid Training Plan, one of the six. We’ve tried to describe every app, ours included, the way its own website does. Prices and features were checked on 11 October 2026 and change often, so check each app’s site before you subscribe.

Runna

Runna is one of the best-known running apps and an official HYROX training partner. Its Hyrox plan combines running, strength and mobility, and you can add up to four strength sessions a week to any Runna plan, choosing your level, equipment and days.

Good for: athletes whose running is the weaker half of their race. Runna’s pacing, interval structure and watch integration are excellent.

Keep in mind: the app is built around running. Strength is planned to fit around your runs, so if you lift as much as you run, check that the strength side goes deep enough for you.

Price: £15.99 a month in the UK ($19.99 in the US), with cheaper annual plans and a free trial.

Hybrid Training Plan

Hybrid Training Plan builds one plan for running and strength around your race date, training days, equipment and current lifts. Hard runs and heavy lifting days are kept apart, and Hyrox station work (SkiErg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges and wall balls) goes into each week at the loads for your division. Every two weeks the plan is rebuilt from what you actually trained: the sessions you completed, the ones you skipped, and how hard they felt.

It runs on iPhone, Android and the web, and standalone on Apple Watch, where circuits show each station’s reps and rest timer, and runs show live lap pace without your phone.

Good for: athletes who want strength planned as seriously as running, and who’d like the plan to adjust when a week doesn’t go to plan.

Keep in mind: it plans for Hyrox and general hybrid training only. If you just want to run a marathon, a running app is a better fit.

Price: £3.99 a month or £34.99 a year, after a 30-day free trial.

ROXFIT

ROXFIT is built around Hyrox racing itself. Link your results and compare your splits against the field, follow athletes live on race day, turn a goal time into a pacing plan for your venue, and build workouts with its assistant. It syncs with Apple Watch, Garmin and Wear OS.

Good for: race analysis and race-day tracking. Many athletes use it alongside a separate training app.

Keep in mind: its strength is racing data rather than a week-by-week training programme built around your schedule.

Price: free to download; Ultra from £5.83 a month adds deeper competition and training analysis.

TrainRox

TrainRox builds a multi-week Hyrox plan from your race date, fitness level and equipment, with daily workouts that progress towards race day. It has a timer built for station work, an Apple Watch companion app, and syncs with Apple Health and Strava. It also covers HYATLON, HYBRID DAY and DEKA races.

Good for: athletes who want a Hyrox-specific plan and timer in one app.

Price: a free first week, then a monthly or annual subscription (prices vary by region and tier).

Centr

Centr, the fitness app co-founded by Chris Hemsworth, offers HYROX-certified 12-week programmes: HYROX Starter for first-timers racing Open, and HYROX Accelerator for athletes who have raced before, in Open or Pro. Centr is also HYROX’s official equipment supplier.

Good for: athletes who want a fixed, expert-written programme with the HYROX stamp.

Keep in mind: these are set programmes rather than plans built around your own schedule and current lifts.

Price: included in a Centr subscription.

TrainingPeaks

TrainingPeaks is the platform many endurance coaches use. On its own it’s a training log and calendar; the plan comes from a coach or a plan you buy in its marketplace, where several Hyrox plans are sold.

Good for: athletes working with a coach, or who want to buy a specific written plan and track load in detail.

Keep in mind: the quality depends entirely on the coach or plan you choose.

Price: a free tier, with Premium around $20 a month; marketplace plans are priced separately.

How to choose

  • Your running is the weak spot: Runna.
  • You want strength and running planned as equals, adjusted as you go: Hybrid Training Plan.
  • You want splits, race analysis and live tracking: ROXFIT, alongside whatever you train with.
  • You want a fixed programme with the HYROX stamp: Centr.
  • You have a coach: TrainingPeaks.

Whichever you pick, a good Hyrox plan should include both running and station work every week, build towards your race date, and train the stations at your division’s loads before race day. Our HYROX weights guide lists every load by division, and all 8 HYROX stations explained covers technique and pacing for each one.

If you want to try a plan that does both, Hybrid Training Plan for Hyrox is free for 30 days.
